For Russia and the whole world Kazan is a symbol of tolerance, peaceful neighborhood of two great religions and cultures. Kazan’s population is about 1.2 million people, and 26 million people more live within a 330 mile radius. It makes 18% of the population of Russia. Kazan has been named one of the best municipalities of the country.

USA finishes 5th in the World University Games with 50 Medals
The 26th World University Games wrapped up on August 23rd in Shenzhen, China. The United States entered the games with it’s largest delegation ever and tallied the best medal count since 1999.
