3rd World University Softball Championship
Colorado Springs, Colorado USA – August 4th to 10th, 2012
Events
One (1) Women’s tournament with a maximum of twelve (12) teams selected by Executive Committee.
Participation
Each country selected is authorised to enter:
- one (1) team of seventeen (17) players.
Countries participating in the Softball tournament must bring with their delegation and at their own cost:
- one (1) international ISF umpire.
Delegation
Each country is authorised to enter a maximum of twenty two (22) persons of whom seventeen (17) may be competitors and five (5) officials. These countries must provide the Organising Committee three (3) months before the start of the championship, with the names of two (2) international umpires (1 effective + 1 non-travelling substitute) per team. Any country failing to fulfil this obligation will pay a penalty fee per missing referee to the Organising Committee (Art. 5.3).
Age Brackets
The competitors must be born between January 1st, 1984 and December 31st, 1994.
