5th World University Beach Volleyball Championship

Events
- One (1) Men’s tournament a maximum thirty-two (32) teams selected by Executive Committee.
- One (1) Women’s tournament a maximum thirty-two (32) teams selected by Executive Committee.
Participation
For each tournament, each country is authorized to present two (2) teams of two (2) players without substitutes.
Two doubles maximum may present by country and by sex. Countries participating in the Beach Volleyball tournament must bring with their delegation and at their own cost:
- one (1) FIVB international Beach Volleyball referee.
These countries must provide the Organizing Committee, three (3) months before the start of the Championship, with the names of two (2) international referees (1 effective + 1 non-traveling substitute) per team.
Any country failing to fulfill this obligation will pay a penalty fee (Art. 5.3) per missing referee to the Organizing Committee.
Delegation
Countries entering two (2) competitors may include a maximum of two (2) officials in their delegation. Countries entering four (4) or more competitors may include a maximum of five (5) officials in their delegation.
Age Brackets
The competitors must be born between January 1st, 1984 and December 31st, 1994.
